I can see how many hobby board gamers, aren't going to like Las Vegas because there isn't enough "meat" or complexity to this. However, keep in mind, this is a simple "filler" game that your grandma would love. The rules are fairly straight-forward and easy enough for a 10 year old to learn.

Enjoy!

There's a store in North Las Vegas, a bit of a drive to get out to, but is strictly board games with a good selection. It's called "Shall We Play?..a Game". They have lots of games open for demoing. The shop has a nice vibe, where board games are the focus, not relegated to a corner in a Card Game shop. Located: 7120 North Durango Drive Suite 180

There is a snack buy in case you get hungry, which usually happens to me.
There are some nights when this place is packed with all types of people.
Once it is packed, and people get competitive the noise level gets nutty.
It is all good fun, and I enjoy the laughter, and arguing.

My wife and I stopped by during our most recent trip to Vegas, which was right before their remodel.
The remodel moved the retail portion of the store to the old cafe so now there are more tables and booths available for playing games while eating and drinking.

Best of all, the staff is very knowledgeable about the games on their shelves.
With over 2,000 games on the shelves, it can be overwhelming, especially for new players, to find something to play.

There are the most popular games up front, then the other shelves are organized by type of games, from Eurogames to Ameritrash, dexterity to party games.
The cafe offers snacks, candy, drinks, and beer and wine.

Always welcoming, always fun.
They say first impressions are everything.
I might've had an advantage because my friends have been talking about this place since it opened over three years ago.
They always have amazing stories to tell of their game night adventures.
I just moved back to Vegas after living in SoCal for three years, so I was excited to be able to check this place out.
Grant greeted me the moment I walked in and gave me a quick overview and tour of the store, game room area and showed me where the cafe was.
I was IMPRESSED even more.
Not just by the cleanliness of the facility, or by the 20,000 board games in the game room, but also by the staff as a whole.

It is all good fun, and I enjoy the laughter, and arguing.

My wife and I stopped by during our most recent trip to Vegas, which was right before their remodel.
The remodel moved and board game bars chicago assured retail portion of the store to the old cafe so now there are more tables and booths available for playing games while eating and drinking.
As a regular board gamer, I fully appreciate all of the things owner Timm and his staff do to make everyone feel at home while visiting Meepleville.
The chairs and tables are comfortable and offer plenty of space for all sorts of games.
There are different areas throughout the cafe where you can hang out with your friends and play board games.
Best of all, the staff is very knowledgeable about the games on their shelves.
With over 2,000 games on the shelves, it can be overwhelming, especially for new players, to find something to play.
Even if you're a seasoned gamer, it doesn't hurt to ask for a game recommendation or check out the walls for their lists of suggested games.
I liked how the shelves were organized, too.
There are the most popular games up front, then the other shelves are organized by type of games, from Eurogames to Ameritrash, dexterity to party games.
The cafe offers snacks, candy, drinks, and game board drinking roulette and wine.
My wife and I only had drinks while we were here, but it was nice to know that there were plenty of munchies available.
The cafe also has a retail section so that you can buy some of the games you've played.
There's even a shelf filled with games on sale so you can save a few bucks.
For locals, Meepleville is a must-visit.
Several local gaming groups meet up here and there are special nights for trivia and other social games.
For tourists, I'd also suggest a stop here.
It's awesome to get away from your smoke-filled hotel and casino for a few hours to play board games, and you'll lose a lot less money while doing so.
Very friendly environment, very good value for what's available.
The food and drink offerings are great quality, especially compared to any other lounge environment for video games or games of any kind as far as I've encountered.
Always welcoming, always fun.
