I just have to write this review about a certain staff member at Harrah's named Vincent Murillo.
I'm not sure of his exact title but I think he is the Director of Operations Safety.
I had an usual situation as I suffer from severe claustrophobia.
I made a reservation 3 weeks prior to arrival to ensure I got a ground floor room since I am not able to use an elevator and the stairwells are all locked for safety reasons.
When we went to check in I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor and I would have to take an elevator to the second floor.
As this was not a possibility for me I asked to speak to someone in charge.
He did whatever he had to do to make sure I got a ground floor room and in the meantime while he figured it out he escorted us to the pool area so we could use the facilities like the pool and get something to eat.
Vince did not brush me off or make me feel like I was being annoying at all.
He took me seriously and moved mountains to make me happy!!
There honestly should be more employees like Vince who make it a pleasure to deal with and are so completely accommodating!!
Also, honorable mention to his right hand woman Stephanie!!

It was spectacular; very clean and comfortable!
We made reservations for a cabana poolside and received excellent service from Bambi.
She was amazing and went out of her way to ensure we all had a blast!
So far this should sound like a 5 Star rating, right!
When we arrived poolside the young kid at the check in desk demanded I return to my room to get my ID in order to be able to order drinks.
Not a problem if I was close to 21 which most days I wish I were!
But, I'm a 59 year old man gray hair and all!
Come in, a little common sense and customer service would have gone a long way!
That evening my wife and I got hungry and went to the buffet at 8:00.
It was actually really bad and the choices were minimal.
I realize we were there possibly near closing time but perhaps a sign or some advisement indicating it's close to closing and some or most options may not be available or fresh.
Typically, we have had great experiences at this Harrah's so we will be back to give it a second chance.
If your looking for a short get away but still have that Vegas vibe THIS IS the place to come to its near San Diego so not too far from LA.
I got here around 2am front desk was very quick service was great and the casino is very clean and has everything for everyone from slots to poker and blackjack.
The room was comped to me for 3 nights since i have a ceasers rewards card from going to vegas often.
Super clean rooms free valet and the staff is very accommodating and understanding.
I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
The Pools Are Amazing definitely go down there if you end up coming here!

I am very happy with my wonderful concierge Ken, my massage therapist Sarah and how well this resort is run to make us feel safe and taken care of.
They really take care of military!
My husband were Given 2 free nuggets and they upgraded us to platinum right away.

Though comps are harder to come by based on play, I still manage to leave with a buffet or two and some extra money in my pocket.

We had so much fun cruising inside the tube and getting splashed with the water!

Ran into some horrible customer service here from the buffet supervisor, Brooke.
I ate at the buffet on Memorial Day after celebrating my 30th birthday at the pool.
I ended up being so sick after eating dinner, I barfed my brains out for over an hour and had to call it an early evening at about 915-930pm.
After having the chills, sweating profusely, barfing half the bathroom trash full of liquids and my dinner, I called the front desk to complain.
I was told I would be contacted by the manager the next day.
Brooke called me the next day and that's when the horrible customer service began.
She told me that getting sick from food doesn't happen that quickly and that it was probably from food or the alcohol I consumed on the property earlier - A: does it matter where the food came from?
It was from your establishment - fix it!
B: I had three drinks and one shot from 9am when I got to the pool until I went to dinner at 8pm - I was not shit faced.
This was not my 21st birthday, give me a break.
C: Brooke, are you a licensed physician?
Don't preach medical information to me.
I am 100% certain it was from the oysters I ate because no one from my party got sick over 20 people and I was the only person that had the oysters.
If Brooke would have taken the time to ask me about my dinner instead of insinuating that I was making the whole thing up, she possibly would have understood that it was from something specific.
I had to fight to get my meal compensated from her.
My 30th birthday night was ruined due to the poor cleanliness of the oyster bar and then the day after was ruined by Brookes snobby attitude.
To top off the issue, after fighting to get my meal returned to me, I went to get my voucher - not even a refund - and the associates working that morning at the buffet couldn't believe how rude Brooke was talking to me and apologized profusely for her behavior.
Tell me why cashiers at the buffet have to apologize for their supervisor's behavior?

Right nowā¦ I come to Harrahs often not just to gamble, but to see great shows and the fantastic spa.
Right now they're decorated for Christmas and it's very festive.
My wonderful concierge, Ken Gilmore had booked my beautiful room, tickets for Bob Saget and he even got me meet n greet after the show.
The show was great!
There was a photographer who took our pictures with Bob.
As always we had dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the resort that never disappoints.
Every single dish was Delicious!
When you play the slots, you order your drink on your machine and they bring it to you.
Non alcoholic beverages are free and the rest you have to pay for.
Of course, even with the non alcoholic beverages, it's always good to tip since these guys and girls work really hard to bring our drinks timely.
You can also call the valet to bring your car around when you leave.
Even if you don't, the guys at the valet work really fast and always have a great attitude!

The resort is well decorated and convenient.

We came here twice.
Both times, our server was Rosalina.
She was patient with us as mom always asks for items after the fact.

They used to have free self serve drinks, but I am guessing the idiots who take the free bus used it to fill their own bottles, and it became a germ fest.
The non alcoholic drinks are free if you call the attendant, but they take a while to get to you.
They are trying to become the new Vegas alternative with upgraded rooms, swimming pool, spa that does hair, nails and massage, and offer commercial brand places like - Starbucks - Earl of Sandwich - Pinks and even a fake taco truck Their buffet is not bad, and if you come midweek they give you a chance to earn a free one if you can gamble a certain point level.
Hey, if all gaming casinos in northern california list for are already dumping money in the slots, might as well make it a free meal.
There's no penalty to use credit, and they offer a discount if you get a car wash.
There's also a Subway and 7-Eleven for your convenience.
Overall a good destination if you don't want to drive to Vegas.

Service at the front desk is pretty slow.

I ate at the buffet on Memorial Day after celebrating my 30th birthday at the pool.
I ended up being so sick after eating dinner, I barfed my brains out for over an hour and had to call it an early evening at about 915-930pm.
After having the chills, sweating profusely, barfing half the bathroom trash full of liquids and my dinner, I called the front desk to complain.
I was told I would be contacted by the manager the next day.
Brooke called me the next day and that's when the horrible customer service began.
She told me that getting sick from food doesn't happen that quickly and that it was probably from food or the alcohol I consumed on the property earlier - A: does it matter where the food came from?

B: I had three drinks and one shot from 9am when I got to the pool until I went to dinner at 8pm - I was not shit faced.
This was not my 21st birthday, give me a break.

My 30th birthday night was ruined due to the poor cleanliness of the oyster bar and then the day after click the following article ruined by Brookes snobby attitude.
